In the tradition of other demented holiday children's flicks from the 1960s, SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS (1964) throws tradition to the wind. This over-the-top Yuletide science fiction fantasy has a ridiculous plot detailing the kidnapping of Santa Claus and two earth children by green-skinned Martians, who have learned about Christmas after watching a television program broadcast from Earth. They bring their captives back to the Red Planet and put Santa to work making toys in an automated workshop. Santa is none too pleased. Meanwhile, a rebellious Martian named Voldar raids and sabotages the toy factory and tries to ruin everything. The Martians see the error of their way and send Santa and the lil' earthlings back to their own planet just in time for Christmas. It's a cornucopia of never-ending laughs, festivity and fun the whole family will enjoy deriding for years to come!
