Distribpix + Something Weird Present BLONDE ON A BUM TRIP! She'll Blow Your Mind!
Innocent small-town college coed, Susan (Alexis Wassel), falls in with the wrong crowd when her sexy roommates enlist her help in making homemade LSD. Initially reluctant to partake, Susan eventually gives in and is soon after embroiled in the underground world of hallucinogens, free love and she abandons her prim and proper morals in favor of increasingly kinky, acid-fueled trips. Unfortunately, it's not long before the more sinister side of the drug begins to take effect, leading to murder and mayhem...
A gritty and spirited New York indie film produced by future exploitation cinema legends JACK BRAVMAN (Snuff) and ED ADLUM (Shriek of the Mutilated), and directed by RAF MAURO and Ed Adlum, BLONDE ON A BUM TRIP (1968) effectively integrates the then anti-drug scare craze of the Sixties with a nudie flick, resulting in a wonderfully weird grindhouse classic which has gained cult status in no small part due to its incredible original garage rock soundtrack by The E-Types (featuring the infectious earworm "Put the Clock Back on the Wall"), The Bit' A Sweet, The Vagrants, and Thee Neons. Distribpix and Something Weird proudly present this fan favorite, newly restored in 4K from the original camera negative and loaded with new archival extra including multiple filmmaker commentaries!
